According to Arkane, this is just the first of many patches that the game will receive, and it was specifically built to address the most constant complaints made by gamers, such as the lack of AI responsiveness in enemies, low enemy encounter frequency, and issues with graphical fidelity. It’s a big patch, so players can expect a lot to change. Redfall’s update 1.1 was just released, and it’s set to overhaul several problems with the title. The game was released with bugs, abysmal enemy AI, and fairly poor graphics. They were, but not in a good way, as Redfall became one of the lowest-rated Steam games of all time. Arkane Studios is known for excellent games such as the Dishonored franchise, and it also achieved success with other new IPs like Prey and Deathloop. Redfall was perhaps the biggest disappointment of 2023 so far. Players who want to test the title again and see if it has improved since Redfall’s disappointing launch can already dive in, as long as they have enough space in their hard drives to download the update.
